This is what I foraged yesterday while cleaning up and putting the greenhouse to bed for the winter. After 15 years of not being able to grow any of the above in my foggy, cool, north coast garden, this is richness unsurpassed.
We made a quick pesto with the basil last night which was then smeared on catfish filets and pan-seared. Sorry, no photo. They were gobbled up too quickly.

Hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful! I look forward to the day when I can "pass the mantle" of cooking the dinner to one of my kids! But for now, I'm still the chief cook, but at least they do all the clean-up!

This is quite a haul~what beautiful looking peppers and that basil! Do you not grow anything in your greenhouse during the winter months? Flowers?Herbs?
That's wonderful! I had to pull up my tomatoes and peppers long ago.
