All Talk And No Show
Way back in March, my beautiful quince bush was laden with blossoms . . .
And after all that hullabaloo, this is what the bush produced . . .
One.Lonely.Quince.There'll be no quince jam or chutney in this cook's kitchen this fall.
What a shame Christine, nature does funny things sometimes.

ReplyDeleteI certainly haven't been blogging with much regularity lately, but if you're subscribed to receive my posts, you should have gotten them. I was having a tiff with my email this past week but that shouldn't have had an effect on your subscription. I can only say to try subscribing again. In the meantime, I'll see if I can figure it out. ReplyDeleteI certainly hope so. As I think about it, this quince bush has had some off-again-on-again years in the past. Hope, as they say, springs eternal.
I can only say that my cherry tomatoes did well this year.

But I cannot eat that...
boo-hoo-! What a shame! That poor little fellow had to be in that bush all by himself~maybe he will have some friends next year and you can all make jam! Have missed your posts, been away. It is hard in the summer to keep up! Trust you are well!

Well, Mimi, cherry tomatoes are a good thing! And the bridal wreath doubling in size - let's see... maybe it's an omen of good wishes for my son and his fiancee who are getting married this Sunday? I'll run with that... :)
