Some of you may be wondering where I've gone, or been, or why I'm not posting.
Or maybe not . . .
I'm going to tell you anyway.
What with working full time, keeping up with the house, husband, critters and garden, posting has taken a temporary back seat.
So I guess I have to admit to myself that I've been taking a break.
Admit it so I don't flog myself daily for not blogging.
Meantime, even though I don't always leave comments, I am staying in touch with you as I read and enjoy your blogs.
And I will get back with the program. Really I will.
Sometime soon.
In fact, this little post just might do the trick.
We'll see.
There are no rules! Just blog whenever you feel like it. (And hope you have a nice break.)
ReplyDeleteIt's good to take a break. Enjoy!

Hope you are enjoying the break. That's just what we are going to do take a break in France for a few days after a long and busy winter.

Take all the time you need my friend.
ReplyDeleteExcept we get worried, it's good to take a break. I've been thinking about it myself. Maybe a little Zen like the Budda!
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your comments. You truly are good friends.
ReplyDeleteI've been devouring books lately, mostly about the way we eat, and am taking a look at how I view food; where it comes from (carbon footprint), how it's handled before I receive it, who profits from the sale of it, how I and my family profit (or not) from the eating of it, the whole nine yards. I'm in a philosophical mode right now, cooking and eating very, very simply.
Who knows what I will do, think, cook, eat while I'm on this journey. And when will the journey be over? My guess is never; that I will always be seeking. Right now simpler and closer to home is better - read not very blogworthy. We'll see.
I'm in the same boat, Christine. I think it's fair game to post when you're inspired and have time in the day. Love the image!
ReplyDeleteHello Catherine, If only I could relax about the times I'm not inspired and the lack of time in the day, then I would truly be as calm as the buddha. Which graces the garden of dear family members too far away.
ReplyDeleteHi there
ReplyDeleteHave just found your blog and it is yest another example of all the great food blogs that are out there! I just don't have time to read all the blogs I have saved at this stage! I started off blogging myself and have just set up www.ifoods.tv which is a place for foodies, bloggers and chefs to hand out and share their recipes, photos and food videos. Would love to see you there sharing some of your great photos! Keep up the great work on the blog, have bookmarked it so will be a regular reader!
I am happy to read I am not the only one who has been away from the blog world-it does take a lot of time and we only have so many hours in a day! I am happy you are well and doing some things you really enjoy, besides work.....can't wait to read about all the new ideas/info you will be able to post in the future! Take care.....
ReplyDeleteHi Jann. So good to hear from you. Yes, I'm still on that spring break which looks as though it may go on into summer. I'm gardening alot and that makes me happy. You take care also.
