We had rented an apartment in Paris, and one night I made an apple dessert with fresh nutmeg, because it was on hand in the cupboard of our tiny kitchen with the airs haft window. It was so wonderful, I vowed to make it again at home. But I could not find a nutmeg grater anywhere.
